GDM We Rise Outreach

Since March 2016, the GDM We Rise initiative has put on fundraising events, provided marketing, consulting and volunteer efforts for Include Autism, The Friends of Scott Foundation and The Animal Pad. We look to continue and grow our relationships with these organizations in 2017. Learn more about these 3 nonprofits, and find out how you can get involved.

include autism

Include Autism is a nonprofit dedicated to providing services that instill community-wide autism inclusion. They provide community access & skill-building programs, while engaging the community through outreach & education. Their Community Coaching program provides hands-on opportunities for participants to develop adaptive, functional skills needed to become included in their community. Include Autism also has Autism Inclusion Training for businesses and community organizations, Volunteer, Peer Pal and Inclusion Baseball League programs.

Friends of Scott Foundation

Friends of Scott is a nonprofit organization that was founded in memory of Scott Delgadillo who lost his life to childhood cancer. The Friends of Scott Foundation's (FOS) mission is to help children with cancer and their families. FOS ensures they receive the emotional and financial support needed to cope with this devastating disease. FOS strives to bring Childhood Cancer Awareness to the community. The organization is run entirely by volunteers who donate their time and dedication toward helping children and young adults with cancer. 

the Animal Pad

The Animal Pad is an all-breed dog rescue devoted to saving the lives of dogs facing euthanasia at high kill animal shelters; focused on abused, neglected, injured, and otherwise special needs dogs. In addition they focus on CA's overpopulated breeds, such as pit bulls, pit-mixes, and chihuahuas. They rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome locally. The Animal Pad is a foster based rescue, and rely on the kindness and generosity of those who make donations toward the rescue and care of the dogs. They're dedicated to animal advocacy and educating dog owners on the importance of spaying and neutering pets.
